This build was compiled successfully on OSX 10.5.8 on my 2009 Macbook Pro. I like many others could not run any of the posted Cycles builds because I was running OSX Leopard. I'm posting this build in the hopes that it may work for other OSX Leopard users.

I have not tested this build on any other system but my own, so no promises that it will run for you (fingers crossed!).

Also, the build was configured with the CUDA option, however depending on your hardware, the CPU/GPU selection may not appear in the Render panel (it didn't for me).

Enjoy, and let me know if you get it to run on your system!

****Please post if you get the GPU/CPU dropdown menu to appear in the Render Panel option

Good stuff mate. I get the gpu/cpu dropdopwn menu. I am running 10.6.8 with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M on a MacBookPro. When I select GPU it adds another dropdown menu which lets you select CUDA or OpenCL.

Hi tmcintosh

thanks for building this for 10.5.8. It was great to see Cycles running on my laptop. Amazing Stuff.
I noticed that when I click on Add Texture, blender crashes... I repeated the same thing 5 times. Always crashes. And the only option available on textures is texDraw. IS this right?

Thanks

Rod

@Tungee - haha I feel your pain man! I too could not get any builds to work on leo, but I finally learned how to build it myself. The key for me was setting the paths to the gcc-4.2 and g++-4.2 compilers in the /Developers folder...
