NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB This is my Graphics CArd. 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo This is my Processor and I have 2GB of RAM.

I have just downloaded this build with the hope of rendering with Cycles using GPU rendering, however it only comes up with CPU and OpenCL GPU (which doesn't work unfortunately). Is this due to my graphics card, or just a bug that is being looked at? I am a Mac user with 10.7.2 and am on a MacBook.

I'm getting this error on OSX 10.5

40209 build.
Doesn't work either. Only background image is rendering. Meshes-closures are invisible.
Please, some information is needed.

same for me, it render in 3D window, but since I change some parameter in material panel, cycles render only background color

40168 build doesn't work on CPU. I see background rendering only.
40078 works fine though
on OSX 10.6.8 (2 xeon nehalem, nvidia, cuda installed)
What is wrong?

macblender & Tungee: I'll need to recompile boost as universal, then I'll see if I can create a 32bit version...

Tungee & cekuhnen: As far as removing the homebrew requirements, I will not be doing that. Hopefully as the Cycles branch matures the requirements will be included, so for now I will wait for Brecht to make these changes in the branch.

Caronte: I don't know of change logs for each branch, but you can see all commits on the Bf-blender-cvs mailing list. for example: http://lists.blender.org/pipermail/bf-blender-cvs/2011-June/date.html

There were two older builds which had the dependencies included.

finally I had i error message from Homebrew "MD5 mismatch" or something after 30 min of install T_T
BUT still now it's working ;)

Now I've just close it and work on my project I'll play with it later :)
If I have time I'll make a some stuff with it, looks so powerful

yoyo, Just a notice: when you run 'brew install openimageio hdf5' , be patient , it can take a looooooong time. (depending on your computer it may take hours)
This is because 'brew install openimageio' will also build and install these dependencies: boost, cmake, ilmbase, jasper, jpeg, libtiff, openexr, pkg-config, tbb

I guess it's a lot of time/effort to do all this just to use this build, so I still recommend J the Ninja's build to anyone who isn't already using Xcode and homebrew. http://graphicall.org/117 (os x 10.6.7 only)

i change place recently and i didn't take the MacosX CDs with me,
I am also enable to find a proper download link to get Xcode 3.2.6 T_T..........

Anyway I play now with the the build of ninja witch don't require any extra install thanks to him

Cycles i really really an awesome toy

I don't ask you to make it, but do you know why there is no build of the unlimited clay of farstary??

It's still not ready to be used yet??

yoyo, Xcode 3.2.6 is free.
For now, it is probably easier for you to use this build: http://graphicall.org/117 (os x 10.6.7 only)
